Lt. Mory Fuhrmann

Mory Fuhrmann has been in the fire service since 1997, and came to Mifflin Township in 2002 after 3 years as a fire/EMS dispatcher at Truro Township. He is a communications instructor and CTO, and before being promoted, was in charge of training at MECC. Along with the other MECC personnel, Mory is EMD certified and is trained in advanced fire communications. He has served as a steward for IAFF Local 2818, and has a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Public Administration. Mory hold an FCC Amateur Radio license. In his free time, Mory is an emergency services volunteer with the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus.

Stan Broadway

Stan has been around flashing red lights for 38 years, starting as a deputy sheriff.  He’s been a volunteer firefighter-EMT for 24 years with haz-mat and rescue training. He has 14 years in dispatch and is EMD certified. Stan keeps his eye on the technical equipment at MECC, including computers and phones. He is the MECC Webmaster. He is a former secretary for Local 2818. Stan holds an FCC Amateur Radio license.  He chases tornados for fun.

Gary Grizzle

Gary Grizzle comes to MECC following 23 years service to Truro Township. He began at Truro as a volunteer firefighter in April 1983, and became a dispatcher in June of the same year. Gary is a charter member of IAFF Local 2932, and served as a shop steward on several occasions. In his free time, Gary is a football coach for Reynoldsburg Youth Football, and runs several fundraising events for the organization. Gary’s eldest son is serving in the United States Navy; Gary and his wife Cheryl reside in Reynoldsburg.

Lt. Keith Higgins

 Keith comes to MECC following 10 years as a dispatcher for the City of Whitehall. Prior to being a dispatcher he served in the U.S. Army in the infantry. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman.
